GBIS Admission Process

We’re delighted that you’re considering Golden Buds International School for your child’s educational journey. Our admissions process is designed to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for parents, guiding you every step of the way—from your first inquiry to your child’s induction. Whether you're exploring early education options or looking for a supportive and innovative learning environment for older grades, we’re here to help you make the right decision for your family.

Admission Eligibility

  • Playgroup: Must be aged 3+.
  • Nursery and above: Must meet the age requirements for each class level.
  • From Nursery onwards, a copy of the previous academic year's report cards is required.
  • Completion of entrance assessments or interviews as required.

Admission Process

  • Inquiry Handling: For information, parents can reach out through our designated phone number, email us at admission@goldenbuds.ac, or use Facebook Messenger. For quick answers, please visit the FAQs in the admission section. Appointments for in-person meetings can be made for more detailed discussions.
  • Classroom Visit Requests: Parents may request to visit classrooms after school dismissal, provided they have given prior notification and following the initial face-to-face interview session.
  • Admission Form Purchase: Parents should purchase and fill out the admission form to begin the child assessment process.
  • Form Submission: Submit the completed admission form before the assessment.
  • Schedule Assessment: Receive the assessment schedule, which will be communicated via mail and a phone call.
  • Assessment Completion: Children will be assessed by an assigned teacher. Feedback will be provided following the assessment process.
  • Confirmation Notification: Parents will be informed via mail and a phone call to confirm their child's admission status.
  • Interview Appointment: Schedule a final interview with the Principal, or VP if the Principal is unavailable.
  • Admission Pack Distribution and Payment: Receive the Admission Pack explaining details before making the payment. Admission formalities must be completed within 7 working days’ post-confirmation.
  • Student Profile Setup: Upon completion of payment, a student profile will be created including essential documents (Admission form, birth certificate, NID, photos). Parents will receive School ID and related information via email followed by a confirmation phone call.

  • Induction for New Students and Parents: Attend an induction session conducted by an assigned person for new parents and students to familiarize themselves with the school environment and expectations.
